ARCC Rosemont Electric Bike
Manufactured in Cambridge, the Rosemont is a sleek step-through town bike designed in collaboration with award-winning frame builder Toby Gallagher. It combines the elegance and poise of a bygone era, with state-of -the-art engineering at ARCC's Cambridgeshire headquarters. Available with or without the ARCC Intelligent Power drive system.
The ARCC Rosemont Electric Bike is crafted from custom-drawn Reynolds Technology steel tubing and hand brazed in the UK, giving the frame a wonderful, stable ride quality - perfect for rough city streets. Machined stainless steel dropouts allow for a variety of drivetrain options, and combine with large 650b x 38 tyres to provide a wonderfully comfortable, yet responsive ride.
This electric version of the Rosemont features the e²-pod Intelligent Drive System. It has been designed by ARCC to provide unique, intelligent bike power to ensure it rides like no other system on the market. It combines variable power levels with automatic hill/gradient compensation which allows commuting cyclists to choose the amount of effort both they and the motor provides; automatically compensates for hills and gradients; and provides ‘launch control’, for safety when moving away from lights and crossings in heavy traffic.
The e²-pod uses an industry-standard 4.0 Ah, 6.0 Ah or 9.0 Ah Bosch battery, which are readily available from stores and online and have a range of up to 75km dependant on the battery used. When the battery is removed, the Rosemont reverts to its standard configuration and can be used as a regular bike.
