Book Now

Once you have purchased your new bike from us, it will be put into the build queue for one of our workshops. Your bike will be built and will undergo a Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) by one of our expert mechanics. A PDI is a checklist that the mechanic follows to confirm that all parts of your new bike are up to our high standards.

Next, your bike will be prepared for shipping. Padding is used on all the necessary areas and your bike is loaded into a sturdy cardboard bike box. All the necessary paperwork and accessories will be packed inside too. Most of our cardboard and packaging are recycled from incoming deliveries. Bikes are usually delivered by DPD within the UK.

In order to package your bike safely, you will need to do a small amount of assembly when it arrives. It can vary from bike to bike, but usually you’ll need to: fit the front wheel, install the handlebars and fit the pedals. Please note that not all bikes come with pedals - please check the specification on each bike, we’ll include it on there.

Product Description

It's 2003 and with carbon road bikes really starting to get into their stride, Orbea unveils the Orca (ORbea and CArbon, see it?!) Distinct tube shapes, standout graphics and with new carbon technology to match, the bike is a hit. Throw in an association with the now-defunct Euskaltel-Euskadi professional cycling team and the Orca started to earn a solid fan base. Of course, it’s not 2003 anymore - 23c tyres, caliper brakes, 11-23 cassettes are no longer de rigeur.

Today's, Orbea Orca, which sits at the racier end of the road bike spectrum is up to date with all the modern road bike features. Hydraulic disc brakes, 28c tyre clearance, internal cable routing and a carbon frame that mixes comfort, aerodynamic performance and light weight. Orbea has thought carefully about the carbon layup of the bike’s frame, paying particular attention to the headtube, downtube and seatstays. Reducing flex in these areas helps transfer every pedal stroke into forward momentum. There's a hidden seatclamp too, giving the bike a svelte appeal and further improving dynamics.

This M40 version of the Orca features full Shimao Tiagra gearing in a sensible ratio, Vittoria tyres and a Selle Royal saddle.
