Book Now

Once you have purchased your new bike from us, it will be put into the build queue for one of our workshops. Your bike will be built and will undergo a Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) by one of our expert mechanics. A PDI is a checklist that the mechanic follows to confirm that all parts of your new bike are up to our high standards.

Next, your bike will be prepared for shipping. Padding is used on all the necessary areas and your bike is loaded into a sturdy cardboard bike box. All the necessary paperwork and accessories will be packed inside too. Most of our cardboard and packaging are recycled from incoming deliveries. Bikes are usually delivered by DPD within the UK.

In order to package your bike safely, you will need to do a small amount of assembly when it arrives. It can vary from bike to bike, but usually you’ll need to: fit the front wheel, install the handlebars and fit the pedals. Please note that not all bikes come with pedals - please check the specification on each bike, we’ll include it on there.

Product Description

The Grenoble C5 HMB from Royal Dutch Gazelle offers you a pleasant upright sitting position, getting you from A to B in comfort at your own pace. Key features of the e-bike include a Bosch Performance Line motor, large capacity 500Wh battery, silent Gates Carbon belt drive, 5 speed Nexus hub gears and a full complement of accessories - namely, lights, mudguards, pannier rack, frame lock and kickstand.

When it comes to riding the Grenoble, this step-through is easy to mount and dismount and once out on the open road, the Bosch Performance Line motor offers a reassuring 'push' of assistance as you pedal. There are four riding modes to choose from (selected via the Bosch Intuvia Display) with ECO mode offering quite an astounding 145km of riding before you need to charge the battery. That's an estimated figure of course, but should give you confidence if you're about to embark on a week's worth of cycling!

It's worth noting that the battery on the Grenoble is positioned with the bike's frame to lower its centre of gravity - just the thing when negotiating obstacles or riding in busy towns and cities. Speaking of obstacles, the Grenoble C5 includes wide tyres, a suspension seatpost and suspension fork to keep comfort (and smiles!) up. There's a comfortable gel saddle too.

All in all, the Grenoble C5 Step Through is an excellent example of today's urban electric bike.
