I'm Pete — editor and owner of Velorution. I'd followed the original London shops for over a decade, and when they went under in 2023 I bought the digital remnants out of administration to bring the brand back to life.

These days that means the weekly Journal, The Velorution Post (real mail, once a month), and a slowly growing shop of gear I'd actually recommend to a friend. I also run Discerning Cyclist.

Everything on Velorution — the Journal, the guides, every word of it — is written by me. No content team, no ghostwriters.
