What you give up is the upgraded finishing kit — the Hope brakes, the Goodyear tyres, the fizik saddle. What you keep is everything that makes the bike work: the battery hidden in the frame, the integrated lights, and a fold that still rolls along a platform instead of having to be carried. The M2i is for riders who care about the last kilogram; this is for everyone else.
