Our Ocean Edition range includes Sea Shepherd branded helmets, with ghost net loops at the back.
Medium & Large Sizes are printed with the Sea Shepherd logo at the back (instead of using a decal). Small size still uses a decal.
As part of their ocean conservation, Sea Shepherd collect the ghost nets that litter our seas. Bracenet then turn these nets into loops, which we purchase to add to our helmets. In addition to this, 10% of the sale price from every purchase will support the valuable marine conservation work of Sea Shepherd
These loops were inspired by the carrying loops that you would see on the vespa helmets of the 1960s. You can still use them for that purpose, but they are most handy for clipping lights onto.
The majority of the loops are yellow but from time to time we will have supply of different colours: Red, Green, Blue
The logo at the back is the distinctive Sea Shepherd Jolly Roger. Look closely and you will see that the staff and skull contain drawings of the cetaceans they wish to shepherd to safety.
Each month, we create a new design that you won't find anywhere else and won't be available for long. When the month ends, it goes into the Velorution Vault and may never return...
