Audience ≠ Community

This week I brought the Velorution forum out of hiding. It's live at velorution.com/pages/community, it's free to join, and the first thread is exactly what a cycling forum's first thread should be: show us yer bike.

I mentioned it in Sunday's Journal. But I want to use this entry to explain the thinking properly — because the idea behind it has quietly changed how I see this whole project.
