My Name Is Pete

In December 2023, I bought a bike shop that no longer existed.

Velorution had gone into administration a few months earlier — not long after two separate vehicles crashed into two of its stores within the space of a single month. By the time I came looking, every physical store had shut its doors for good. There was no shop to buy. What I actually bought was what was left behind: the name, the website, and some social accounts that had gone quiet — the digital remnants of a business, with no shop attached to any of it.
